About Us
Imo State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission, ISOPADEC was established by the Laws of Imo State House of Assembly in 2001 to intervene in the development of the oil producing and impacted areas of Imo State.
The Commission has been entrusted with the responsibility of socio-economic welfare of the mandate areas which covers all the Local Government Areas. The Commission through her leadership engages in Community Economic Development (CED) initiatives by facilitating, executing and implementing projects and programmes in these mandate communities.

Imo State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission, ISOPADEC was established by the Laws of Imo State CAP. 106 in 2001 to intervene in the development of the oil producing and impacted areas of Imo State.

What we offer To The Oil Producing Communities
Community Development
The Commission provides a platform for Community Economic Development Initiatives that are driven towards tackling issues like unemployment, poverty, job loss, environmental degradation, crisis thereby increasing opportunities for communities who are disadvantaged and enhancing the economic, social, ecological and cultural well-being of these communities.
Educational Programmes
The Commission sponsors bursary and scholarship programmes and facilitates formal, non-formal and vocational training.

The Commission facilitates healthcare and social services to the underprivileged, physically challenged, aged, abused and the most vulnerable in the mandate communities.
